World of Warcraft Upgrades
Upgrades are the components that can be added to equipment in order to provide various bonuses. They range from stat increases to increased chances of incredible effects on equipment.
The item upgrade system works slightly differently than what you may be familiar with from other MMORPGs. This guide will cover the basics of how it functions along with some tips and tricks.
Rerolling
A player can upgrade items such as trinkets, weapons, and armor above level 9 by visiting an item upgrader NPC. These NPCs can be located by searching for them on the map or talking to a vendor. When you upgrade an item it gets stronger and also gains new bonuses. It may take a long time to collect the materials needed to upgrade an item but the rewards will be worth it.
An upgrade to a gear requires a specific amount of Power Dices, Minerals and Erons to complete. Power Dices can be obtained by scraping or by acquiring them from NPCs that upgrade items. They are dropped by monsters who inhabit zones above level 21. Minerals and Erons can be gathered through crafting, or purchased from the item upgrader NPCs. The upgrade process will take away any previous upgrades. However, the resultant items are still usable.
If a player has reached a certain amount of upgrade items, they can play with those items to obtain different bonuses. This is not a guarantee however it can help decrease the chance of spending money or resources on unsatisfactory upgrades. The upgrader of items NPC is located in Central Flarine.
The upgrade pity system, introduced as part of the 2.6.0 gear rework, lowers the extreme variance in the chance of upgrading. This means players will have a greater chance of receiving their desired item of evolution by spinning a Pokestop.
Rerolling an upgrade can be done by interacting with the upgraded item and pressing the green button using circling arrows. Rerolling only applies to upgrades that are not currently possessed by any unit, however it does not apply to the original item that the upgrade came from.
Rerolling the same item can give a player a discount on the upgrade cost. Rerolling a Tier 4 upgrade to a Tier 5 upgrade will lower the cost of upgrading other Tier 4 upgrades to Level 5. Additionally, rerolling an upgrade from a non-weapon to a weapon will reduce the price of rerolling other items to weapons in that upgrade track by half.
Sets
A set is a collection of items that are distinct from one another. You can use a number of methods to mix sets. You can combine sets using the intersection, union, or symmetric difference. Each method has its own benefits and drawbacks. The union method connects two sets, eliminating duplicate elements. It can be used for other collections, such as quads or lists. The intersection method is a way to compare sets and only retains the items that are common to both. It can also be combined with other operations, such as the & operator.
A tuple or list is a collection type that allows duplicate values. Sets are different from other kinds of collections in that they are not able to have duplicate members. This is the reason they are often used to represent lists of data. When working with large data sets, using a set as an array can help you reduce space. Sets are easy to program, and they permit you to perform complex maths with Python.
When upgrading an equipment set piece, you can gain extra stats if all the pieces are at level 10. This is the best way to get additional stats from your equipment. However, you need to invest some time in upgrading the set pieces to do so.

Buy
Purchase an upgrade to an item or, more commonly "upping" is the process of adding a level to any equippable gear. This includes weapons, armor, trinkets and gathering tools with an upgrade slot. This is done by paying appropriate currencies at an upgrader NPC. Upgrade components can be added to these items in order to grant an attribute bonus, as well as additional benefits when using the equipment.
Upgrades that have been slotted in can be replaced, but they are not removed until the item has been destroyed or recovered using a Black Lion Salvage Kit (or more advanced tools for item recovery). Glyphs that are inserted into gathering tools can be easily removed and replaced.
A player can recycle other equipment to acquire six upgrade components. Recycled items add a specific number of levels to the upgrade gauge for an item. The amount increases as the gear grows in value.
